One way to explore the world of wedding dresses is to look for dresses that inspire you. What are silhouettes you’re interested in? What are styles that catch your eye? Looking at Pinterest or other websites gives you an opportunity to narrow down what interests you. Once you have your options narrowed down, you can then see what the similar themes are in each of the gowns. Additionally, it also gives you a list of what type of gowns or styles you want to try on. One of the benefits of having more time for your wedding dress shopping is the option to go to a trunk show or sample sale! You can see what trends are coming in the next year, peek into exclusive designs, and become acclimated with different designers.

Bridal Shops all offer various designers and collections! It’s important for you to figure out what kind of bridal shopping experience you’d like to have and then match a bridal shop to that vision. Do you want to have a large party present with you when you shop? Do you want to sip champagne and stand on stage when you try on gowns? Are there particular designers you are looking for? Use this time to research bridal shops in your area and ones you can drive to!
